Thanksgiving Part 1

I am grateful that we got to spend our Thanksgiving with the wonderful Trevor, Liz and Ben Weed in beautiful California. They took such good care of us and planned so many fun activities for us to do while we were there. Anna had a lot of firsts this trip.

Daddy and Anna is the SLC airport before our flight to Long Beach.

Anna's first airplane ride! She did awesome. Didn't make a peep.

Smile you are in California.

Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful. We had a pot luck with two families that know Trevor and Liz, 5 missionaries, and Landon Grange and Clarissa. Trevor made the most delicious turkey I have ever made. Seriously, see Trevor for the recipe because it was phenomenal.

On Friday we did some sight seeing. We went to the Long Beach pier, ate at Rosco's Chicken and Waffles, and then watched the BSU v. Nevada game

Isn't he handsome?

I had so much fun with Ben. He is really starting to talk and interact with us. He is always making us laugh. I am sad I didn't get a picture of him smiling because he really is the most photogenic little kid.

Long Beach

Roscoe's chicken and waffles. This is their specialty. This was probably the healthiest option on the menu. It was really good, but its kind of gross when you think about it.

Teaching dance

I helped my friend Travis teach ballroom dance at his ward's FHE. We taught the swing. The Chase and I danced a little after we were done teaching. So fun.

Gettin' ready

Anna hangs out on the bathroom counter while I get ready for the day. She has discovered herself in the mirror and loves grinning at her cute baby face.

L cubed

Lean, Landon. and Logan (L cubed) came down a few Saturdays ago to SLC. The boys bought some new suits, we ate some samples at Costco, and went out to eat. In the middle of the day we had quite an adventure. It was ridiculously windy that day and e were at the gas station when Chase shut the car door the entire window shattered to a million pieces. It was so nuts Chase started laughing and I was shocked speechless. The totally weird part is that is shattered before it actually closed. Isn't that nuts? Thankfully Landon helped Chase out in getting a new window and getting it repaired.

I think little Logan has the sweetest, most angelic face.

The first snow fall

Snow always gives me mixed feelings. It has an extraordinary way making the barren and dead world beautiful, but it is also cold, wet, icy, and worst of all slushy. Yuck. Anna is equipped for any blizzard that may come our way this winter.

Party in Provo

A few weekends ago we went down to hang out with some of my favorite people of all time. Jenni, Ashley, Chelsie and we got to meet Chelsie' fiance John. We had homemade pizza, played skipbo, passed around Anna, and mostly talked and laughed our heads off. I had a blast.

Our dear sweet Jenni. We love her.

Anna is still young enough that she can sleep anywhere and not be woken up by sudden bursts of laughter.

Not sure what's going on in this pic, but I guarantee that we were laughing seconds after it was taken

John is retelling how they met. He tells hilarious stories. He kept us laughing all night. We think Chelsie and John are a wonderful match and we are so excited for their wedding in December.

I sumbit to you the first ponytail!
