On December 18th one of our favorite couples get married. Yay Chelsie and John! We went to the SLC temple for the wedding and then off to the Joseph Smith Building for an amazing dinner. Chelsie has been one of my very best roommates and we adore John. Perfect match.
Just married!
Here we have Chelsie's mom stepping in to pin up the train because John didn't have a chance figuring out what to do with all those ruffles.
The family pic
Ashley and me. You know for the middle of December it wasn't too cold
This is what happens when you say "Hey you guys make this pic look like a candid."
Here we have the groom holding the dress from the wet ground while ducking out of the picture of Chelsie and her friends.
Ashley, Chelsie, and me.
Dinner! We got to sit with our friends Travis and Bryce. They had Chase and I laughing all night long.
Anna and the bride.
My family
Chase loves playing a real piano whenever he can, especially a grand piano. Let me narrate this pic for you. CHASE-singing and playing either Rascal Flatts or the Beatles. JENNI-singing along with a beautiful harmony. TRAVIS-Laughing at the crying baby in his lap. ANNA-the crying baby who would probably like to get out of her dress and snuggle up with some blankets for a much needed nap

Precious Moments
One of my favorite times with Anna is when I lay her on her back and I put my face just above hers and talk and sing to her. She just lays there wide eyed, smiles, and discovers my face with her tiny little hands. These pictures are of Anna doing this very thing with her daddy. I also love when we are in the car and I reach back from the front seat to put her pacifier back in and she just grabs onto my fingers. It's almost as if she was thinking, "Oh there you are Mama, I was looking for you."

Thanksgiving Vacation Part 3
In downtown LA there is a district called Little Japan, mostly full of shops and restaurants. We went to a Japanese grocery store and then ate some authentic Ramen, (not the 10-cent kind that comes in a wrapper :)
Insides the Japanese Grocery store. To me it looks like a plate of hot dogs cut to look like squid and a boiled egg. Hence the uncertain look on Chase's face.
Chase checking out all the restaurants making sure he picked what he wanted. We don't ever go out for Japanese food so naturally he didn't want to make a wrong choice. We actually left the first place we went to due to a totally incoherent menu and high prices, not to mention everything seemed to come raw. I ended up picking the restaurant and I think I did a pretty good job.
Mr. Ramen, Home of gigantic soup bowls and delicious ramen.
Thanks for the wonderful vacation Trevor and Liz.

Disneyland
I had no idea we were going to Disneyland until the day before. Trev scored us some tickets. Boo yah! I love theme parks, but I have a special place in my heart for all things Disney. I was a little nervous if it would be hard to take little Anna to Disneyland, but she actually went on some rides. Anna rode on Pirates of the Carribean, Haunted Mansion and Buzz Lightyear. Anna opted out of Space Mountain since she was tired, but she loved the other rides. Since it was Monday after Thanksgiving the park was dead and the longest we waited was about 20 minutes. We got to ride pretty much everything we wanted. It was a fabulous day.

In line for the Haunted Mansion
A little afternoon nap in the stroller for Ben
Pirates of the Caribbean
Next to the Tower of Terror. I had never been on this before and I loved it!

Thanksgiving Vacation Part 2
I didn't realize until after having Anna how much it means to a parent when people want to hold your baby. I love it! So I was feeling really good after Trevor and Liz got to hold and play with Anna. Even Ben liked to play with Anna. He called her "Onna" all weekend. So cute.
Aunt Liz
Benny, Liz, and Anna
I think Ben has got this babysitting thing down. Pacifier in, my job here is done :)
Aunt Liz let Anna borrow her Boppy pillow. They make all kinds of things for babies now.
Waking up with Daddy
Exercising in the man cave. Props to Trev for not letting Ben interrupt his workout.
Game Day. This picture was taken before our one point loss against the Utes. She and her daddy wasn't as happy after the game.
"Hi!"
"Have you guys ever laid in a Boppy. It's awesome."
People often comment on how alert Anna is. I love her beautiful, bright blue eyes.
