Thanksgiving Part 1

I am grateful that we got to spend our Thanksgiving with the wonderful Trevor, Liz and Ben Weed in beautiful California. They took such good care of us and planned so many fun activities for us to do while we were there. Anna had a lot of firsts this trip.

Daddy and Anna is the SLC airport before our flight to Long Beach.

Anna's first airplane ride! She did awesome. Didn't make a peep.

Smile you are in California.

Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful. We had a pot luck with two families that know Trevor and Liz, 5 missionaries, and Landon Grange and Clarissa. Trevor made the most delicious turkey I have ever made. Seriously, see Trevor for the recipe because it was phenomenal.

On Friday we did some sight seeing. We went to the Long Beach pier, ate at Rosco's Chicken and Waffles, and then watched the BSU v. Nevada game

Anna all ready to go to the beach!

Isn't he handsome?

I had so much fun with Ben. He is really starting to talk and interact with us. He is always making us laugh. I am sad I didn't get a picture of him smiling because he really is the most photogenic little kid.

Roscoe's chicken and waffles. This is their specialty. This was probably the healthiest option on the menu. It was really good, but its kind of gross when you think about it.

  1. Oh, this looks like SO much fun! What an adorable bunch. It looks like Liz opted for something other than chicken and waffles. Why would she do that when chicken and waffles were on the menu? I'm so happy to know that Ben took such good care of Anna. It looks like he had a little help from his mommy. I hope that all of these cousins get to know and love each other over the years. Anna and her mommy are as cute as they can be!
